Brilliant review. I also am a great fan of the B&R notebooks. I have written a book on Effective Notetaking and recommend the use of just this type of A4 sized book for note-taking in business meetings.

Great review and great descriptions! I especially like your comparison of the paper with the clairfontaine and rhodia (which I have used) which helps bring the review to life. I have ordered a few online and am looking forward to trying them out!

I use a hardcover bound Black 'n' Red for my "Book of Jobs" at work to keep track of my daily activities. LOVE the paper quality in it. Absolutely superior product. I just wish there were more pages in it . . . compared to the engineering notebooks I used to use for this purpose, the Black 'n' Red fills up quickly.

Fantastic review! I'm always looking for notebooks that can be lefty friendly. Add that to my new love of fountain pens and inks and you can certainly get into a fine mess. It is great to "happen upon" a great notebook that can be had at a o.k. price and also be fairly easy to find. I will be writing my own lefty review soon and will post a link over at the Stylo forums.

I just started using them and they are wonderful. It is really tough to find paper that doesn't feather with broad fountain pens. I love them now.
